When I walked into this space for the first time I was surprised by how much natural light there was. The space follows a one directional method to the bar where your barista will greet you. When dine-in seating is permitted guest are welcome the community bench seating you see in the center. Few outlets are available to customers in addition to free wifi.

This space provides the elegance of post modern decor with the warmth of undying hospitality from the staff at Thump Coffee.

Overall, this space combines post modern minimalism with a coffee shop experience that is warm and welcoming, with plenty of space to work and catch up with friends or hold a business meeting.

Flying Moon Cabins - Idaho Springs, Colorado

Located just a mile up the road from the mountain town of Idaho Springs, CO is a gorgeous getaway spot for you and a significant other. Cabin owners Lindsay and Alex Dalton do an amazing job at prepping each space for reservations. Prepping involves cleaning, sanitizing, and making sure the cabin is stoked with all the essential items you need for break from city life.

I stayed in the Canyon Rose cabin for two days and found it to be so pleasant and the perfect excuse to get out of the city for a bit. Right when you get there you’re greeted with a Flying Moon Cabins mug and a few packs of instant coffee from Queen City Coffee Collective which you can keep!

What I loved most about my stay are the little surprises you discover while you’re there. FMC do an amazing job at making sure each cabin has their own secluded and private spaces. Despite their being four other cabins on the property, it always feels like you’re the only one there. I enjoyed morning coffee next to this quiet little stream right out side my cabin door.

When I wasn’t consuming coffee I was hiking and exploring the trails located just a few miles up the road.
